Frequently asked questions

Common questions about tracking, calculations, privacy, and subscriptions.

Is Welthr a trading platform?

No. You manually record holdings and transactions. We do not place orders, link to demat accounts, or move funds.

Do you provide investment advice?

No. The platform is for tracking and informational visibility only. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Nothing shown constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell.

How are returns calculated?

We use weighted-average cost for holdings, separate realized and unrealized P&L, portfolio XIRR (money-weighted), and CAGR where applicable. See the dashboard and unit tests in the codebase for methodology.

How do USD stocks appear in INR?

Current values use the latest cached USD/INR rate. Historical transactions may store the FX rate at entry time (fxRateUsed) for cost basis.

Can I track PPF, EPF, and Sukanya Samriddhi?

Yes. Add them under the appropriate category and record deposits. Use metadata current value for statement balances when needed.

How do mutual fund NAVs update?

Scheme data is synced from AMFI NAVAll.txt on a schedule. Per-holding NAV cache updates when you refresh prices or via cron jobs.

Is my data shared with other users?

No. Each user has an isolated account and portfolio. We do not publish or share your holdings.

What subscription plans are available?

Monthly and yearly plans are available. See Pricing on the homepage or Subscribe after login. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the billing period ends.
