Adding your first asset

Go to Assets → Add asset. Choose a category (e.g. Indian Stock, Mutual Fund, Fixed Deposit).

For market-traded assets, enter a symbol or AMFI scheme code. For PPF, EPF, Sukanya, or FDs, use the category-specific fields and optional current value override.

Add buy/deposit transactions so cost basis and returns can be calculated.

Indian & US stocks

Indian stocks use NSE tickers (e.g. RELIANCE, TCS). US stocks use USD and symbols like AAPL.

Use Refresh prices on the Assets page to update quotes. USD holdings are converted using the latest cached USD/INR rate.

Mutual funds

Search by fund name (fuzzy typeahead) or enter the AMFI scheme code directly.

NAV is read from the synced AMFI master database when available.

PPF, EPF, Sukanya & fixed deposits

These are tracked as manual assets. Record deposits and optional maturity/interest metadata.

Set a current value override in asset metadata if you have a statement balance to display.

Refreshing prices & NAV

Click Refresh prices on Assets to update stock quotes, mutual fund NAVs, and FX rates within cache TTLs.

AMFI scheme master data is refreshed nightly via a scheduled job.

Exporting reports

From the dashboard, use Export PDF or Export Excel to download a snapshot of holdings, allocation, and recent transactions.

Exports are generated from your recorded data at export time.
