How to use every part of Welthr, step by step — from creating your account to tracking loans, expenses, investments and goals.
Contents
Getting started
Create your account, sign in, and set up Welthr the way you like it.
Create an account
1On the home page, click Get started.
2Enter a Username, your Email, a Password (at least 10 characters, including a number), and the same password again in Confirm Password. Click the eye icon in a password field to see what you typed.
3Wait a moment while Welthr checks you're human (usually just a tick, sometimes a checkbox to click), then click Create account. Welthr sends a verification email to the address you entered.
4Open the email and click the link inside. You'll see Email verified! — your account is ready.
5Click Sign in to log in for the first time.
No email? Check your spam or promotions folder. The link only needs to be clicked once. Or click Sign up with Google instead: there's no password to choose and no email to verify, and Welthr makes a username from your email address.
Sign in and sign out
1On the home page, click Log in.
2Enter your Username and Password, then click Sign in. Or click Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
3You land on Net worth, your home screen. The top bar takes you to every part of the app.
4To sign out, click Sign out at the top right.
Continue with Google works for an existing account too, if your Google account uses the same email: the two are linked and both ways of signing in keep working. On a phone, the top bar shows icons only. Each icon has a label for screen readers, and the labels appear on larger screens. After 5 wrong passwords, Welthr asks you to complete a quick "I'm human" check before trying again. After 10, the account is locked for 15 minutes; resetting your password unlocks it straight away.
Reset a forgotten password
1On the sign-in form, click Forgot password?.
2Enter the Email on your account. Once the quick "I'm human" check has passed, click Send reset link.
3Open the reset email and click the link.
4Enter a New password and Confirm new password, then save. Sign in with the new password.
Signed up with Google and want a password as well? Use Forgot password? with your Google email to set one; the email tells you your username. Reset links expire. If yours says the link is invalid, click Request reset link to get a new one. New passwords need at least 10 characters and a number, and Welthr won't accept a password that has appeared in a known data breach.
Light and dark mode
1Look for the small round control in the bottom-right corner of any page.
2Choose Light mode (the default), Dark mode, or System theme to follow your phone or computer setting.
Your choice is remembered on that device and browser.
Install Welthr on your phone or computer
Welthr can be installed like an app, with its own icon. It opens full screen, without the browser bar.
1Android (Chrome) or desktop (Chrome/Edge): sign in and click Install app in the top bar, then confirm. On desktop you can also use the install icon in the address bar.
2iPhone or iPad: open Welthr in Safari, tap the Share button, scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Signed in, you can also tap Install app in the top bar to see these steps.
3Open Welthr from its icon on your home screen or in your apps list.
Welthr needs an internet connection. Offline, you'll see a "You're offline" page with a Try again button.
Plans and the free trial
Free for everyone, no account needed: all calculators. Everything else in the app needs a plan.
Every plan includes Net worth, loans, property and other assets, Goals, and Habits & challenges.
Expenses Pro (₹99/month or ₹799/year): Expenses — recording spending, income and transfers, accounts, trends, recurring entries, budgets, PDF/Excel export, and importing bank and card statements.
Portfolio (₹199/month or ₹1,999/year): the Assets page (stocks, mutual funds, FDs, SSY, gold and more), the Dashboard, live price refresh, stock details, and PDF/Excel exports. With it, your investments are also counted in your net worth.
Portfolio Family (₹349/month or ₹3,499/year): everything in Portfolio, plus portfolios for up to 4 family members (5 people with you), a family total, and 3× the AI import allowance. See Family.
Add Expenses Pro to Portfolio or Portfolio Family for ₹50/month or ₹500/year more — cheaper than buying it separately.
Prices are for India. Outside India, plans may be priced in your currency, based on the country on your Profile.
Free trial: new subscribers can try any plan free for 10 days. When the trial ends, the plan's price is charged automatically; cancel before then and you pay nothing. See Free trial.
Your net worth is the big number at the top: total Assets minus total Liabilities. The line under it shows the change since last month, once you have a month of history.
Your habits shows your savings and investing streaks, and how many goals are on track.
Coming up lists the next few reminders, such as a SIP date or an FD maturing.
What you own and owe breaks your assets into cash & bank, investments and property, and your liabilities into loans and card dues. It also shows your Debt to assets ratio.
Over time charts your net worth. It is recorded every day, so the chart appears from your second day.
New here? The Build your net worth in a few minutes card has shortcuts to add accounts, loans, property and investments.
Add bank accounts, cash and wallets
Bank and cash balances are managed in Expenses, so spending and net worth stay in step.
1Go to Expenses → Categories & accounts.
2Under Accounts, enter a name (for example "HDFC Savings"), pick the account type, and optionally add the last 4 digits.
3Enter the current balance and click Add account.
4The balance appears in your net worth straight away. See Accounts and balances for more.
Add a loan
1On Net worth, scroll to Loans and click Add loan.
2Pick the Type: Home, Car, Two-wheeler, Personal, Education, Gold, Loan against property, Borrowed from a person, or Other.
3Enter a Name (for example "SBI home loan"), and optionally the Lender and Loan account, last 4.
4Enter the Loan amount (₹), Interest rate (% p.a.), Tenure in years and months, and Loan started on. The first EMI is assumed one month after the start date.
5Welthr works out the EMI (₹). If your bank's EMI is different, type the bank's figure.
6Optional: tick I know the balance from a recent bank statement, then enter Outstanding on statement (₹) and Statement date. The schedule continues from that balance, which corrects small differences from how your bank calculates interest.
7Click Add loan. It now appears under Loans with what's left and when it ends.
Credit cards are not loans here. Add them as a Credit card account in Expenses — their dues appear in your liabilities automatically.
Track money borrowed from family or friends
1Click Add loan and choose Borrowed from a person.
2Enter a name like "From Dad" and optionally who lent it (Lent by).
3If there's no fixed repayment, enter 0 as the EMI.
4Open the loan and use Repayments to record each amount you pay back. The balance goes down by that amount.
View the schedule, prepay or close a loan
1Click a loan in the Loans list to open it.
2See Outstanding, EMI, EMIs paid / left, Ends, Interest paid so far and Interest still to pay.
3Scroll to Repayment schedule for every payment, split into principal and interest, with the balance after each.
4To record a part-payment, go to Prepayments, enter the Amount (₹), Paid on date and an optional Note (for example "Bonus"), then click Add prepayment. Your EMI stays the same; the loan ends sooner.
5To change any detail, click Edit loan, update it, and click Save changes.
6When the loan is fully repaid, click Mark as closed. Use Reopen loan if you closed it by mistake.
7To remove a loan and its prepayments completely, use the delete option on the loan page and confirm. This can't be undone.
1On Net worth, scroll to Property, vehicles & other assets and click Add asset.
2Choose the Type: Property, Vehicle, Jewellery or Other.
3Enter a Name (for example "2BHK, Whitefield"), its Current value (₹) and the Value as of date.
4Optional: add Bought for (₹) and Bought on.
5Optional: pick the Loan taken for it. Welthr then shows your Equity — the value minus what's still owed on that loan.
6Click Add asset.
These values are your own estimates; Welthr doesn't fetch prices for them. Use the edit button next to an asset now and then to update its value, or the delete button to remove it.
Expenses
Expenses Pro
Record spending, income and transfers; see where your money goes and how much you save.
2Under Expense categories, mark each category as a Need, Want or Savings. This drives your 50/30/20 view.
3To add your own category, type a name, choose its type, and click Add. Do the same under Income categories.
4Use Rename to change a name, or Archive to hide a category you no longer use (Restore brings it back).
"Savings" categories (SIPs, deposits) aren't counted as spending, so they don't lower your savings rate.
Accounts and balances
1In Expenses → Categories & accounts, under Accounts, add each place you keep money: Cash, Bank, Credit card or Wallet.
2Enter the current balance. For a credit card, enter the amount due now.
3As you add expenses, income and transfers, balances update automatically.
4If a balance drifts from your bank app, click Update balance and enter the real figure. This corrects it without adding fake income or spending.
Only the last 4 digits of an account or card are stored — never the full number.
Record a spend
1On Expenses, click Add entry.
2Keep the type as Expense.
3Enter the Amount (₹) and pick a Category.
4Check the Date, choose the account it was Paid from, and optionally how it was Paid via (UPI, card, cash, net banking, wallet).
5Optionally add who it was Paid to (for example "Swiggy") and a Note.
6Click Save, or Save & add another to keep going.
Record income
1Click Add entry and switch the type to Income — or click Add money on the Your money card.
2Enter the Amount (₹), pick a category (for example Salary), and choose the account it was Received in.
3Optionally add who it was From (employer, client…) and a note, then click Save.
Add your income each month so Welthr can show your savings rate and keep your savings streak going.
Move money between your accounts
Use a transfer for money that only moves between your own accounts: withdrawing cash, topping up a wallet, or paying a credit card bill. It changes both balances but isn't counted as spending or income.
1Click Add entry and choose Transfer — or click Transfer on the Your money card.
2Enter the amount, pick the From and To accounts, and click Save.
Read your monthly overview
Use the arrows at the top to switch to the Previous month or Next month.
The summary shows Income, Spent, Savings rate and Budget left.
Where your money went shows spending by category (investments excluded).
Needs, wants & savings compares your month with the 50/30/20 guideline: 50% needs, 30% wants, 20% savings.
Daily spending charts each day of the month, and Recent entries lists your latest records.
Insights
Under the monthly summary on Expenses, Insights points out up to three things about the month, for example a category that's up on last month, spending above your recent average, your lowest-spending month, or a run of months saving 20% of your income.
While a month is still in progress, it's compared with the same days of last month, or projected to the end of the month, so a half-finished month never looks better than it is.
Click the × next to an insight to hide it for that month. Click See trends for the full picture.
See how your spending changes over time
1Go to Expenses → Trends and choose 6 months or 12 months.
2This month compared puts this month so far beside last month and the same month last year: income, spent, invested and savings rate.
3Income vs spending shows both for every month. Hover over (or tap) a month to see the amounts and its savings rate. The Savings rate chart underneath marks the 20% guideline.
4Under Category trends, tap categories to compare them month by month — up to five at a time. The table below lists every category with its monthly average, last month (▲ / ▼ when it's 10% or more off the average) and this month so far.
This month's bars are lighter because the month isn't over yet. Spending leaves out investments (Savings categories) and transfers, as on the overview.
Repeating entries (rent, EMIs, SIPs, salary)
1Click Add entry as usual — or Add repeating entry on Expenses → Recurring — and fill it in. The entry you save is the first one.
2Under Repeat, choose Every week, Every month, Every 3 months or Every year. Welthr shows the date of the next one.
3Choose Add it automatically (rent, EMIs, SIPs, salary) or Ask me each time (bills that change, like electricity).
4Optionally set when it Ends: never, on a date, or after a number of times. Then click Save & repeat.
5Automatic ones are added on their date and update your balances. "Ask me" ones appear under Due to confirm on the Expenses overview — change the amount if needed and click Add, or Skip it.
6On Expenses → Recurring, click Edit to change the amount, account or schedule (from the next one on — past entries stay as they are), Pause / Resume, or the bin to stop repeating. Entries already added are kept.
Upcoming repeating entries show under Coming up on Net worth and Habits. With reminder emails on, you'll also get an email a few days before repeating payments of ₹5,000 or more.
Find, edit or delete entries
1Go to Expenses → Transactions. It opens on this month; use the arrows to move a month at a time.
2Pick a Date range: This month, Last month, Last 3 months, Last 6 months, Last 12 months, This financial year, Last financial year, or Custom range with your own From and To dates.
3Narrow it down by Type (Expenses, Income, Transfers), Category, Account, Paid via (UPI, card, cash…), an Amount (₹) range, or Search for a payee or note. On a phone, tap Filters to show these.
4Click Apply. The Entries, Spent, Income and Net totals cover everything that matches, and long lists are split into pages of 100.
5Click Clear to go back to this month with no filters. The page address keeps your filters, so you can bookmark a view you use often.
6To change an entry, click its edit button, update it, and click Save changes.
7To remove an entry, click its delete button and confirm.
Filtering by an account also shows transfers into and out of it, such as paying a credit card bill from your bank.
Download a PDF or Excel report
1For one month: on Expenses, pick the month with the arrows and click Excel or PDF.
2For any other period: go to Expenses → Transactions, choose a Date range (for example This financial year or a Custom range) and any other filters, and click Apply.
3Click Excel or PDF above the totals. The file covers exactly the entries you filtered, and its name includes the dates.
4Excel has four sheets: a Summary (income, spent, invested, savings rate and your 50/30/20 split), every Transaction, spending By category, and a Monthly summary.
5PDF is a readable report with the same summary, a chart of where your money went, your needs/wants/savings split, month-by-month totals, your top payees, and the transaction list.
A PDF lists up to 1,000 transactions; the Excel file always has all of them.
Import a bank or card statement
1Download a statement from your bank or card's website as PDF, CSV or Excel (XLS/XLSX), or use the PDF from your statement email. Any bank works.
2Go to Expenses → Transactions and click Import statement.
3Choose the account the statement belongs to and pick the file. Welthr reads it on your device and AI works out which column is the date, description and amounts.
4If the PDF is password-protected, enter its password (the statement email usually says how it's made, e.g. from your date of birth or PAN). It's only used on your device to open the file.
5If Welthr can't find the transaction table in a PDF, or the rows look wrong, click Let AI read it. AI then reads the statement's text and lists the transactions for you to check.
6Check the preview. If something's off, change the columns; a ✓ under the count means the running balance adds up. Click Continue.
7Review the rows. Each one gets a suggested category, from how you've categorised that payee before or from AI. Credit card bill payments and ATM withdrawals become Transfers between your accounts, so they don't count as spending.
8Rows already in Welthr, from an earlier import or added by hand, are unticked and marked. Tick any you still want. Use the filters, search and Set category… to change many rows at once.
9Click Import. To take an import back, click Undo next to it under Recent imports.
Importing the same statement twice, or two statements that overlap, won't add anything twice. Your file and PDF password are never stored. Only the file's first few rows and the payee names are sent to AI to read the columns and suggest categories, plus the statement's text if you choose Let AI read it. Scanned (image-only) PDFs can't be read. The next statement for the same account reuses the columns you confirmed, so AI isn't needed again. Each month includes a set number of AI-assisted imports and AI PDF reads (shown on the import page); after that, import still works and you check the columns and categories yourself.
Set a monthly budget
1Go to Expenses → Budgets.
2Under Overall monthly budget, enter your Monthly spending limit (₹) and click Set budget.
3Your Budget left shows on the Expenses overview. Change the amount and click Update any time, or click Remove to clear it.
Use the Welthr Android app
The Android app has everything in Expenses: entries, accounts, budgets, repeating entries, trends, import and export.
1Install Welthr from the Google Play Store and sign in with your Welthr username and password. Signed up with Google? Use Forgot password? with your Google email first to set a password for the app.
2Home shows the month: what you've spent against your budget, income, how much you saved, the last 7 days and recent entries. Tap the month name to look at an earlier month, and the + button to record a spend.
3Activity lists every entry, with filters for the date range, type, category and account. Tap an entry to change or delete it.
4More has your accounts, categories, budgets, repeating entries, trends, statement import and export.
Portfolio, net worth and goals are on the website for now; More links to them. Plans are managed on the website.
Add expenses from bank SMS (Android)
The app can read the messages your bank, card and UPI services send for each payment, and list them for you to add with one tap.
1In the app, go to More → Bank SMS, read what Welthr reads and sends, and tap Allow SMS access. Leave Also read the last 90 days on to catch up on recent spending.
2New transactions appear under Review, with the account, type and category filled in when Welthr can tell. Check them, then tap Add, or Add N ready transactions to add them all.
3If an account is missing, pick it once; Welthr remembers it for that bank and card next time. Tap Dismiss for anything you don't want, such as a duplicate.
4To skip the review, turn on Add automatically in Bank SMS. Transactions with a known account and no possible duplicate are then added as they arrive.
Only messages from banks and payment services are read; messages from people, OTPs and offers are ignored. Only the transaction (amount, date, payee, the last 4 digits of the account, reference number) leaves your phone, never the message itself. Messages Welthr can't read stay on your phone under Couldn't read. Add the last 4 digits to each account under Accounts so messages land in the right one.
Investments (Assets)
Portfolio plan
Track stocks, mutual funds, FDs, Sukanya Samriddhi, gold and more, with live prices and returns.
If no price appears, click Refresh prices on the Assets page. Indian stocks need the NSE ticker (for example TATAMOTORS), not the company name.
Add a mutual fund
1Click Add asset and set Category to Mutual Fund.
2Search for the scheme by name, or type its 5–6 digit AMFI Scheme Code.
3When you see Scheme verified, check the name and the NAV preview.
4Click Create asset, then record each purchase or SIP instalment as a Buy transaction.
Buys in two or more recent months are recognised as a SIP, and you'll get a reminder before the next one.
Add gold, gold bonds, cash or other investments
1Click Add asset and choose Gold (Physical), Gold Bond (SGB), Cash or Other.
2Enter a Display name. For physical gold, enter the weight in Grams.
3If you know the latest value (for example from a statement), enter Current value override (INR, optional).
4Click Create asset, then add transactions for what you put in and took out.
Import holdings or a tradebook from your broker
1Download from your broker (Zerodha Console, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, ICICI Direct…) either your holdings (what you own now) or your tradebook (every buy and sell), as Excel, CSV or PDF.
2On Assets, click Import and pick the file. For a password-protected PDF, enter its password (usually your PAN or client ID); it's only used on your device.
3Check the columns AI matched (symbol, ISIN, units, price and, for a tradebook, date and buy/sell) and the preview, then click Continue. A PDF is read by AI after you click Let AI read it.
4Review the list. Each row is matched to a stock, ETF, gold bond or mutual fund by ISIN, symbol or name. Use Change if a match is wrong, or Search for one that wasn't found.
5For holdings, pick the date to record them as bought on. Returns are worked out from it, since a holdings export has no purchase dates.
6Click Import. New stocks and funds are added to Assets, and ones you already have get the new transactions. To take an import back, click Undo under Recent imports.
Importing again doesn't double up: trades already recorded are skipped, and holdings you already have with the same units are unticked (with more units in the file, only the difference is added). For exact returns, import your tradebook rather than holdings. Your file is never stored; only its first rows (and a PDF's text, if you choose AI reading) are sent to AI. AI use counts towards the same monthly allowance as statement imports.
Record buys, sells and dividends
1On Assets, click a holding to open it.
2Click Add transaction and choose the Type: Buy, Sell, Dividend, Interest, Deposit (cash in), Withdrawal (cash out) or Maturity payout.
3Enter the Date. For Buy and Sell, enter the Quantity and price; for the others, enter the cash amount.
4Optionally add Fees and Notes, then click Save transaction.
5The Transactions table on the asset lists everything you recorded. Use the delete button on a row to remove a mistake.
Fixed deposits, Sukanya Samriddhi and Cash only show the transaction types that apply to them.
Fixed deposits: create, record interest, close or renew
1Click Add asset, choose Fixed Deposit, and fill in the Bank / Issuer, optional FD number, Principal (₹), Start date, Tenure (or Maturity date) and Interest rate (% p.a.).
2Choose the Interest payout: cumulative (paid at maturity), monthly, quarterly or half-yearly. Tick Senior citizen, Tax-saver (5-yr lock-in) or Auto-renew on maturity if they apply.
3Check the preview of Total interest and Maturity amount, then click Create FD.
4When interest is credited to your bank, open the FD and click Record interest. The amount is prefilled; adjust it for TDS if needed.
5When the FD matures or you break it early, click Close FD, enter the Closure date and Amount received (₹) (and the Penalty for early closure).
6To roll it over, click Renew. This closes the FD at maturity and opens a new one with the proceeds.
Most Indian banks compound quarterly; change it under Advanced if yours differs. Tenures under 6 months earn simple interest.
Sukanya Samriddhi (SSY)
1Click Add asset and choose Sukanya Samriddhi.
2Enter the Account holder / label (for example "Ananya's SSY") and the date the Account opened on.
3Optionally add the Opening deposit, Post office / bank and Account number (last 4 digits).
4Click Create account. Welthr shows the current government rate, when the account matures, and until when deposits are allowed.
5Record each yearly deposit with Add transaction → Deposit (cash in).
SSY interest is calculated from government-notified rates, so you never enter it. Open the account to see a Year by year table of deposits, interest and closing balance.
Use the Assets list
The summary shows Total invested, Current value, Total P&L and how many assets you hold.
Use Search by name or symbol… or the category filter to find a holding.
Click Refresh prices to fetch the latest stock prices, mutual fund NAVs and USD/INR rate.
Click any row to see its details: quantity, current price or NAV, value, P&L, returns, and every transaction.
For a listed stock, open its detail page to see Market Cap, P/E (TTM), P/B Ratio, Dividend Yield and Beta (1Y).
To remove a holding, use its delete button and confirm.
Dashboard and reports
Portfolio plan
Your whole portfolio at a glance, with returns and downloadable reports.
Portfolio value, Total P&L and XIRR sit at the top. XIRR is your money-weighted yearly return, which accounts for when you added or withdrew money. It appears once your first investment is 30 days old.
Quick insights shows your Largest holding, Top allocation and Best unrealized return.
Charts show your allocation by category and how your value has changed over time.
Holdings, Category breakdown and Recent transactions summarise what you own. Click Manage assets to go to the Assets page.
Download a PDF or Excel report
1Go to Dashboard.
2Click the Excel or PDF export button.
3The report downloads to your device, named with today's date.
4On the Family plan, the report covers whoever is picked in the member switcher: the whole family, you, or one member.
Family
Family plan
Track your spouse's, parents' and children's investments separately, and see the family total.
2Click Add member, enter their Name, pick a Relation and, optionally, their Date of birth (used to show their age and flag minors).
3Click Add member. The Family plan covers 5 people, you included.
Add a member's investments
When you add an asset, FD or SSY, choose the person under Belongs to. It starts on whoever you're viewing.
When you import holdings or a tradebook, choose Whose holdings are these? first. Holdings are compared with that person's assets only, so the same fund held by two people stays separate.
To change an asset's owner, open it and click Move. Its transactions move with it.
See one person or the whole family
On Dashboard and Assets, use the switcher at the top: Family shows everyone together, You shows your own investments, and each member's name shows theirs. Your choice is remembered across pages and exports.
The Family view adds By member: each person's value, invested amount, P&L, XIRR and share of the family total. On Assets, each row shows whose it is.
Each person has their own value-over-time chart, which starts filling from the day after you add them.
Net worth on the Dashboard is shown in the Family view, since it includes your bank accounts and loans.
Edit or remove a member
1Go to Family and click the pencil to change a member's name, relation or date of birth.
2Click the bin to remove someone. If they have assets, choose to move them to another person or delete them with all their transactions.
Upgrading, and when the plan ends
Already on a Portfolio plan? Go to Subscription and click Add to your plan, then pick Portfolio Family. The unused part of your current plan is added to the Family plan as extra days, and your old plan stops (including its auto-renew).
If the Family plan ends, nothing is deleted. Members' portfolios can still be opened from the switcher, but they're read-only and the Family total is hidden until you renew.
Goals
Any plan
Save for an emergency fund, a house, a car, your child's education, retirement and more.
1Go to Goals and click New goal (or Create your first goal).
2Pick what you're saving for: Emergency fund, House down payment, New car, Child's education, Retirement, Holiday, Wedding or another goal.
3Enter a Name and the Target (₹, in today's money). For an emergency fund, Welthr suggests about 6 months of your expenses.
4Choose the date you want to reach it By, and enter what you've Already saved (₹).
5Optional: adjust the Inflation % and expected Return %.
6Optional: under Count these accounts and Count these investments, tick the savings accounts or holdings set aside for this goal. Their value then counts towards it automatically.
7Click Create goal. Welthr works out how much you need to save each month.
1Go to Goals → Habits & challenges and scroll to Your target & emails.
2Under A month counts when I save, choose a share of my income and enter At least (%), or a fixed amount and enter At least (₹/month).
3Tick Monthly check-in email for one short email on the 1st with your savings, net worth and goals.
4Tick Reminder emails for SIP dates, SSY deadlines and FDs maturing (a few days before).
5Click Save.
Savings and investing streaks
Savings streak: a month counts when your income minus spending meets your target. Add your income and spending in Expenses to start one.
Investing streak: a month counts when you invest anything — a buy or deposit in Assets, a spend in a Savings category, or money added to a goal.
The current month stays open until it's a hit. A month with no data breaks the streak.
The last 12 months are shown so you can see your pattern.
Reminders
Coming up lists what's due in the next two weeks, such as an expected SIP, an SSY deposit deadline or an FD maturing.
The next few also appear on your Net worth page.
Click a reminder to go to the related asset.
Turn a leak into progress
1Create at least one goal first.
2Each month, Turn a leak into progress finds your biggest "Want" spending category and suggests putting part of it towards the goal that's furthest behind.
3If you agree, click Move ₹… to the goal. This records the amount against your goal; move the money yourself in your bank app.
Challenges
Optional — pick one that sounds fun.
1Under Challenges, choose one: 52-week challenge (save ₹100 in week 1, ₹200 in week 2… ₹5,200 in week 52 — ₹1,37,800 in a year), No-spend weekends (4 weekends with no spending on wants), or 30 days of cooking at home (compares your spending in a category such as food delivery against the previous 30 days).
2Pick the Goal for the savings (or Don't add to a goal). For cooking at home, pick the Category to avoid.
3Click Start.
4For the 52-week challenge, mark each week as you save it. The others track progress from your expenses automatically.
5To give up a challenge, click Stop and confirm.
Milestones
Welthr celebrates milestones such as your net worth crossing ₹1 lakh, an emergency fund covering 3 or 6 months, paying off a loan, becoming debt-free, streaks of several months, and goals reaching 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.
New milestones appear as a banner on Net worth and in the Milestones list on the Habits page.
1Click Subscription in the top bar, then Choose a plan (or click See plans wherever a premium feature is locked).
2Choose Monthly or Yearly billing. Yearly costs less overall. During the launch offer, the regular price is shown crossed out next to the lower price you pay.
3Pick Expenses Pro, Portfolio or Portfolio Family. On the Portfolio cards, tick Add Expenses Pro to get both.
4Click Pay and complete the payment in the secure Razorpay window.
5Your plan starts straight away and its features unlock.
You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Your price stays the same when you renew, even if our prices change.
Free trial
1New to Welthr's plans? The plan page shows Start free trial instead of Pay: every plan can be tried free for 10 days.
2Pick your plan and click Start free trial. Razorpay asks you to set up auto-renew (UPI AutoPay or card). Nothing is charged now; Razorpay may take a small authorisation amount and refund it.
3The plan's features unlock straight away. Subscription shows when the trial ends and what will be charged then, and we email you two days before.
4When the trial ends, the plan's price is charged and your plan continues. Don't want it? Click Cancel free trial before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
There's one free trial per account. If you'd rather pay straight away, click Skip the trial and pay now.
Add to your plan
1Go to Subscription and click Add to your plan.
2Pick what you'd like to add. Your new plan always includes what you already have — the card shows what your plan becomes.
3The unused part of your current plan is added to the new one as extra days, and the old plan (and its auto-renew) stops.
Manage renewal or cancel
1Go to Subscription (My Subscription) to see your plan, Start date, End date and Auto-renew status.
2Click Turn off auto-renew to stop future charges, or Turn on auto-renew to set up automatic renewal.
3Click Cancel subscription to cancel. You keep access until the end date and can Reactivate subscription before then.
4If your plan has expired, click Renew subscription or Subscribe again. Your data is kept.
Your country and currency
1Click your name (the person icon) in the top bar to open Profile.
2Pick the Country you live in. The currency changes to match; you can choose another one in Show amounts in.
3Click Save. Totals, charts and the PDF report now show in that currency, converted from rupees at the latest exchange rate.
Your data doesn't change: amounts you type, unit prices like a fund's NAV, Excel exports and the calculators stay in their own currency.
Delete your account
1Go to Subscription and scroll to Delete account.
2Click Delete my account.
3Enter your Current password and type DELETE to confirm. If you've only ever signed in with Google, typing DELETE is enough.
4Click Delete account. You're signed out and lose access immediately.
You can sign up again later with the same username or email.
